Absinthe Glass

A quality hand made glass.It is a true copy of once famous the Pontalier glass. It contains a reservoir which is used to properly dilute the absinthe with ice water.The absinthe glass was once combined with an absinthe perforated spoon which held a sugar cube and a carafe or an absinthe fountain with ice cubes and water to keep it cold to enhance the louche.As the iced water is very slowly dripped on to the sugar cube on an absinthe perforated spoon,the sugar dissolves and drips along with the ice water into a dose of absinthe in the reservoir, causing the absinthe to louche due to the essential oils that precipitate out of the alcoholic solution.
